All Goodyear tires are to be raced as supplied by manufacturer.
NO GROOVING
NO SIPING
NO CHEMICAL TREATMENT OF ANY KIND.
BUFFING OF TREAD OF TIRE WILL BE ALLOWED.

All classes have 4(four) race events to use up old (2010) legal Hoosier tires.

Late Models can use up Crate 21 or 55 as well as regular 21, 55 or WRS2-55 tires. They must be legal (2010) tires and no chemical treatment allowed. Tires will be durometered and must meet minimum requirements for that tire.

After 4 events have been completed in that class, Goodyear will be the only tires allowed for the remainder of the season.

Racing Saturday night will be the Racecar Engineering Late Models, East Bay Sprints, Q Auto & Injury Attorneys Limited Late Models, Precision Kia Street Stocks and the Motorstats.com 4 Cylinder Bombers. For further information, please contact us here at the track…

Cooler temperatures hit the Bay area this week but the action at Eastbay Raceway Park was as hot as ever. Five classes were in action as the season hit the month of November and the final points drive for the championship in all classes. A packed grandstand witnessed a great night of racing action.

The Outlaw 4’s were first on the feature card as Shirlene Hammond picked up her first win of the year. Hammond started on the front row and held off the challenge of Billy Howard. Howard finished 2nd. Points leader Matthew Haynes finished 3rd. Brittany Yates and Roberto Morfin, Jr. rounded out the top-5. Howard and Jody Robbins won the heats.

The East Bay Sprints were in action again as last week’s feature winner Danny Martin, Jr. appeared to have things in hand while leading when his engine blew in turn 4. The top spot was handed over to points leader Tim George. George drove away from the field and picked up his 2nd feature win of the season. Billy Boyd finished 2nd. Kurt Taylor started 5th and finished 3rd. Travis Bleimeister and Rich Alexander rounded out the top-5. Boyd and Taylor won the heat races.

In the Racecar Engineering Late Models Bryan Bernhardt started on the pole and never looked back. The points leader led all 25 laps and picked up his 3rd feature win of the year. Jack Nosbisch, Jr. started 8th and finished 2nd. Travis Varnadore finished 3rd. Mavrick Varnadore started 6th and finished 4th. Wallace Peacock rounded out the top-5. Nosbich, Jr. and Kyle Musselman were victorious in the heats.

The Precision Kia of Wesley Chapel Street Stocks Clarence and Thomas Pratt battled for the lead as the laps wound down. On the final lap with Clarence leading and his brother Thomas running second Clarence spun in turn 2 and collected Thomas. This turned the lead over to Donnie Reed who picked up his 8th feature win of the season. Roy Woodhouse finished 2nd. Gary Sheffield started 11th and finished 3rd. Mike Wilson finished 4th. Buck Woodhouse rounded out the top-5. T. Pratt and Eric Moon were victorious in the heats.

The Motorstats.com 4 cylinder bombers Johnnie Alexander picked up the win after a 3rd place start. Alexander was able to hold off the hard charging Michael Eaton who was trying to win his 3rd feature in a row. Tonight’s win was Alexander’s third of the year. Eaton finished 2nd. George Handy started second and finished 3rd. Points leader Troy Dittebrand finished 4th. Kever Raulerson rounded out the top-5. Dittebrand, Alexander and Handy won the heats. Don Quinn, Andre Sheneman and Patrick Fiore, Sr. raced into the feature as a result of a top-3 finish in the B-Main.

In the Racecar Engineering Late Models, point leader Bryan Bernhardt holds a narrow lead over the brother’s Travis and Mavrick Varnadore. Last week is was Veteran Driver Doug Horton with the win, points leader Bernhardt finished 8th, while Mavrick Varnadore finished 7th and second in points, Travis finished 4th. In the East Bay Sprints, it was Danny Martin, Jr. with another win with points leader Tim George finishing 2nd. George has an 89 point lead over second place Rocky Sullivan and 105 point lead over third place driver, Billy Boyd. In the Precision Kia Street Stocks, it was Donnie Reed winning his 7th Feature win. Reed has a 35 point advantage over Thomas Pratt who also has 7 Feature wins this year. Third in points is Buck Woodhouse who is 119 points behind Reed. In the Outlaw 4′s last week, it was points leader Matthew Haynes with his 9th Feature win this year. Billy Howard is second in points with 6 Feature wins and is a close 18 points behind Haynes. Chris Zimmerman is third in points with 1 Feature win and 152 points behind the leader Haynes. In the growing class, the Motorstats.com 4 Cylinder Bombers, it was Michael Eaton picking up his second consective win, third on the year last week. Troy “SOCKS” Dittebrand is the new points leader and has only a 14 point lead over 2nd place in points, Kever Raulerson. Raymond Vann is third 99 points behind Dittebrand. So fans, come on out and watch these divisions compete again as the season winds down and the points battles tightens up and see who will end up victorious in VICTORY LANE Saturday night.

Halloween Eve brought around 100 cars to the track for a fun and freaky night of racing. The grandstand was packed with the young and some old in Halloween costumes. Over 50 drivers and teams distributed candy during the intermission as the goblins and ghosts ventured onto the racing surface.

The Precision Kia of Wesley Chapel Street Stocks were first on the schedule as Donnie Reed won his 7th feature race of the season. Thomas Pratt held off James Hook to take the 2nd place finish. Hook finished 3rd. Buck Woodhouse and Eric Moon rounded out the top-5. Roy Woodhouse and Clarence Pratt were victorious in the heats.

The Outlaw 4’s saw Matthew Haynes starting 13th and win his series leading 9th race of the season. Billy Howard started 5th and finished 2nd. Chris Zimmerman finished 3rd. Jody Robbins finished 4th with a strong run from an 8th place starting position. Stephen Hohlbaugh rounded out the top-5. Hohlbaugh and Howard won the heat races.

In the Racecar Engineering Late Models Doug Horton started on the front row and led through numerous early cautions to take the win. It was the second win for Horton this season at the Clay by the Bay. Jack Nosbisch, Jr. started last in the field and finished 2nd. Perry Brown ran in the top 5 all night long and finished 3rd. Travis Varnadore finished 4th. Doug Watson started on the pole and finished 5th. David Schmauss, Brown, and Bryan Bernhardt won the heat races.

The East Bay Sprints were in action for their 15 lap feature event Danny Martin, Jr. picked up his third win of the season after leading the event flag to flag. Danny Martin, Jr. commented in victory lane that a fuel line became detached in the driver’s compartment of the car and that he was able to hold it with one hand and drive the car with his free hand. Tim George finished 2nd. Stephen Darvalics finished 3rd. Gene Lasker and Bill Boyd rounded out the top-5. Darvalics, Rocky Sullivan and Martin, Jr. won the heats.

The Motorstats.com 4 cylinder bombers Michael Eaton picked up his second win in a row and third win of the year. Johnnie Alexander finished 2nd after starting 5th. Henry Burnside finished 3rd. Troy Dittebrand and George Handy rounded out the top-5. Raymond Vann, Eaton and Alexander were victorious in the heats. Robert Purcell, Robert Kissam and Patrick Fiore, Sr. raced into the A- Main feature event for the Motorstats.com 4 cylinder bombers via top 3 finishes in the B-Main event.
