OVER 50 SPRINT CARS SHOWED UP FOR PRACTICE NIGHT AT EAST BAY RACEWAY WEDNESDAY

TAMPA, FL…..2/19/14…..A banner field of 360 Winged Sprint cars is assured for three days of racing this Thursday, Friday and Saturday at East Bay Raceway Park for the 38th Annual Winternationals and 16th King of 360 worth $10,000 to the winner on Saturday night.

Greg Hodnett , a member of the Pennsylvania Posse, who is piloting a car that won in 2011 was the fastest on the clocks with a time of 12.597. He was joined by last year’s winner Danny Holtgraver of Pittsburgh PA and California’s Rico Abreu in the top three.

Young Christopher Bell, last year’s Midget driver of the Year, was fast for his first laps ever on the 1/3 mile clay oval. David Gravel, Jac Haudenschild,Terry McCarl, Tim Shaffer and Canadian driver Glenn Styres, winner in 2012, were on the clock also.

Seventeen states and Canada will be represented when the field assembles for the first night of two preliminary action nights which should include drivers Danny Lasoski and Chad Kemenah, the 2005 winner.
