National All-Star Racing Association ready for East Bay action to kick off 2010

WHITELAND, IN (February 25, 2010)—CJ Rayburn’s National All-Star Racing Association will kick off their 2010 racing season with four nights of racing action at the East Bay Raceway Park in Tampa, FL. There will be four straight nights of National All-Star Racing Association Super Late Model racing, beginning on Wednesday Night, March 3rd; concluding on Saturday Night, March 4th with a $5,000 to win event.

On Wednesday March 3rd the NASRA Super Late Models will open the first of four nights at ‘The Clay by the Bay’ paying $2,500 to win (25 Laps Feature), while Thursday March 4th and Friday March 6th will pay $3,000 to the event winner (30 Laps Feature). The final event of the weekend will be capped off by a $5,000 to win event (50 Laps Feature) during the final week of the 34th Annual Winernationals.

Each night will feature a complete show of practice, Time Trials, Wayne Bowen Racing Supply and Budda Bert Transmissions Sales & Service Heat Races, Double H Race Fabrications B-Mains and the Main event. The stands will open at 4:30 p.m. each day, and the Speedway Restaurant will be open all day during each event.

The Late Model tire rule each night will be: Hoosier LM-40, D-55, WRS-2-55 or 1600 and American Racer MD-56 on the rear which must punch 58 minimum. Open brand/compound on the front. Mufflers will be mandatory for each Late Model. The NASRA Late Model entry fee will be $35.00 nightly for series members and $50.00 nightly for non-series members. Drivers can buy a yearly membership for $100.00 prior to April 10th and then after that date they will be $125.00 per membership.

The official Host Hotel for the Winternationals events will be the Days Inn Tampa North. Located just 20 minutes from the track, they will be offering a special racers/fan rate of $45.00 per night. Grandstand Admission will be $20 for Wednesday, $25 for Thursday, $25 for Friday and $30 for Saturday. Pit Passes will be $25 for Wednesday, $30 for Thursday, $30 for Friday and $35 for Saturday.
