East Bay Raceway Park drops the green flag on the 34th Annual 2010 Winternationals this January

Tampa, FL – For 33 years the dirt track racing industry has started its annual launch of racing action at East Bay Raceway Park in Tampa, Florida during the heralded Winternationals. Coming in 2010, the 34th running of the Winternationals will be expanded into a six week bonanza of the sports best, gunning to make a name for themselves in the record books.
The 34th Annual East Bay Winternationals will kick off with the action of the high flying Open Wheel Modifieds, UMP/EBRP sanctioned, for five days, beginning on January 26, 2010 culminating with a $5,000 to win finale on January 30th. Future details for this week of modified action will be announced soon.
The second week of the Winternationals finds the Lucas Oil Dirt Late Model Series hosting the ground pounding action of the best Dirt Late Models in the entire country going to war from February 1-6, 2010 for the Dart Winternationals title.
The All Star Circuit of Champion Sprint Cars returns to East Bay to contest a three-day event promoted by Miracle Motorsports from February 11-13 culminating in a $7,000 to win main event on Saturday.
The NeSmith Chevrolet Late Models invade East Bay for three days of Crate Late Model racing action from February 18-20, 2010 supported by the TUSA Mod Lites.
The American Sprint Car Series (ASCS) will take to the track from February 25-27, 2010 with the final night being the 8th annual Ronald Laney Memorial, “King of 360’s”, for $10,000 to win. The ASCS will be supported by the Florida Mini Sprints.
In a new twist this year, the Winternationals will be extended a week, with the addition of another great week of super Late Model racing from March 3-6, 2010. This event will be contested under UMP and NASRA sanctioning rules and conclude with a $5,000 to win finale on March 6th to conclude the 34th running of the Winternationals.
The expanded schedule and dates will be supported by the marketing efforts of X.CELERATED (XR) and Motorstats.com. The XR and Motorstats team will also provide sponsor facilitation and event activation, media coordination, vendor sales, and an exclusive web-based Video Pay-Per-View for the entire duration of the Winternationals hosted on XR’s Race Cast (www.racecastlive.com) broadcasting portal that will include live timing and scoring stats by Motorstats.
In the coming weeks, exciting announcements and information will be announced for the 2010 East Bay Winternationals. While the East Bay Winternationals website is being prepared for launch, all information will be available on the website of East Bay Raceway Park at: www.eastbayracewaypark.com.

About East Bay Raceway Park
East Bay Raceway Park is a 1/3 mile clay (dirt) oval located in Tampa, Florida. East Bay is the host to the “Winternationals” every year, an event that kicks off the dirt track racing year with six solid weeks of racing action. ASA Sanctioned Racing for the regular season begins the second Saturday in March and runs through the second weekend of December. Racing for the weekly show starts at 6:30 pm. Classes that compete regularly on an alternating basis are Late Models, Limited Late Models, East Bay Sprints, Open Wheel Modifieds, Out Law 4’s, Street Stocks, 4 Cylinder Bombers and Dirt Daubers.
